Hi bought this game and it started out to look like fun. However, I can't seem to reliably cast the lightning spell. I can draw seemingly perfectly-shaped bolts and nothing happens. In the mean time the vampires are breaking down the wall and I'm drawing perfect bolt after perfect bolt and nothing. (And yes, the green bar at the top is full.) It's so frustrating I have quit playing the game.

Is there a trick to getting the lightning bolts to work reliably every time? In the practice screen I can draw just about any shape and it casts the lightning bolt, but during the actual game it seems totally random as to whether the lightning spell will work or not.

During gameplay, my lightning bolts tend to degenerate into almost an 'S' shape, but still fire pretty reliably. Perhaps you're being too careful with your gesture?
