Would it be possible to download the file via PC with a downloadmanager (that can recover file dwonload) and copy it manally to the android target directory?

Edit: Still download is stopping with server timeout. In the meanwhile I’m assuming that majority is unsuccesfull download. I would recommend to limit the allowed number of concurrent downloads to reduce the queue.
