Missile towers are glitched right now and occasionally do much less damage than they should. There’s a fix on the way of course but it might be a few weeks coming, so until then you might want to experiment with stacking up basic lasers to help whittle down the winged parasites. Once you have a few more options unlocked things should go a lot more smoothly.
