I notice that if I build something away from a power line, the repair drone will supply energy to build it, albeit very slowly.

Interesting strategy if you want to build a power plant near a cluster of astroids but don’t want to build the power nodes. It’s not a great strategy since the power transfer takes FOREVER…but nonetheless available.
