Hi, and welcome! I’ll try and clear it up a bit for you.

As it says in the original post, each weapon will draw power from its closest generator [i:3u01w8k0]as long as it has power.[/color:3u01w8k0][/i:3u01w8k0] So if you have lots of weapons that are firing attached to one generator, then yes, it’s very possible for it to pull power from the station instead. You can see when a generator is out of power because it has a blue power bar. Also, generators will not pull power from other generators, they will only recharge by generating power themselves.

Power generators aren’t required for weapons, all structures can use the main station as long as they are connected to it and it has spare power. Also, the main station can have four connections to it.

As for how to earn credits for the shipyard, that’s slightly off-topic and there are some good suggestions in the strategy thread about this (playing mining modes on hard difficulty settings is a good way for example).
