Hi, yes they should be the same. The only difference could be the Global Nexus rewards which may have been picked up on one device. Also, iCloud data is only synced on the title screen, so to download new data you will have to back out to that screen on the target device.
There is a new update coming which will make this clearer, and also improve the iCloud sync for 64-bit devices.
The currencies are stored ‘per device’ so it will not overwrite your currency by using iCloud.
