Just adding some thoughts….
I love Sentinel 3. It’s the best Tower Defense game I’ve ever played. Here are some tweaks and suggestions that I think could by applied to S4:
1. Real Time and Double time are great. Having the power to speed up even faster (3 or 4 x) would be fantastic for grinding. Level 19 –> 20 takes an eternity.
2. The armor suits in S3 have a final level 20 ability, but consider dropping that down a few levels so we can have fun while still grinding. I realize people may enjoy going for highscore etc, but I enjoy the campaign. After 20, there was just nothing left to do.
3. Upgrades Upgrades Upgrades. It was neat to put points into your commander, but I want more! More damn you! Give me options to upgrade barriers, barrier weapons, base turret stats, and sentinel weapons.
4. I found some of the turret options to scale poorly with the linear progression of a round. Example, around 60ish on level 20 of the 1st campaign, missiles really lose their shine, and after a while it becomes a laser/sniper game.
5. I love min maxing. It’d be a bonus to know more detailed states about enemies, turrets, and the commander. Not everyone is into that, but I strive for efficiency and data/numbers would be greatly beneficial.
Overall dev team, I FUCKING LOVE this game. You’ve done a fantastic job, and I am EAGERLY awaiting the release of S4. I would willingly throw myself at your feet for alpha/beta testing.
