Hi! Thanks for the report. Does it only do this when you lock/sleep your device? (This is a known bug with V1.1.0)

Also, the HD pack can be uninstalled from the data packs screen, this will drastically reduce memory usage and may improve the situation for you.

Let us know how you get on!

So – you mean, try running from a fresh boot, before it’s had a chance to sleep?

I think this tab has 512mb of ram.

I’ll try removing the HD pack, but I hope that’s not the final solution coz it was positive comments about it that convinced me to get the game in the 1st place. <img decoding= (I’m. A huge fieldrunners fan.)

I’ll let you know how it goes. Thx for the quick response!

A little better on a fresh boot – see screenshot.

Removing the HD pack did solve it, but of course now everything is blurry.

Is there a fix of some kind underway?

Thanks for the screenshot. It does indeed look like some of the tilesets have failed to load when it is rendering the map. You could try re-downloading the HD pack in case there was a problem with your download. But I suspect that memory is more likely the problem. I will investigate further and let you know if there is anything we can do.

    Heya –

I did redownload, a couple times. (I thought there might have been a conflict since I was downloading the base data and the HD pack at the same time.)

I have an Asus Transformer arriving soon, I’ll try it on there as well – it’s got a gig of RAM.

Yep – works great on the Asus with 1GB of RAM.

I’m getting something similar on my Droid X. I have the high-rez textures installed. The game runs fine, butt occasionally I start a map and only the lower-left quarter of background tiles are visible. Once or twice no background loads. Exiting the level and going back in usually fixes it. Other than that, the game runs fine.

Thanks for the report. We are seeing a lot of people running into video memory issues with the HD pack, if you have it installed, could you please try uninstalling it from the data packs screen as this will reduce the amount of memory the game requires to run.

Start lower left quarter of the map and background tiles are visible. No background load once or twice.

On an HP Touchpad hacked to run Android 2.3 which has a gig of ram, foreground objects are missing when using the HD pack, not the usual missing tiles I’ve seen in screenshots.
