Repair DroneMemberThis sounds like you’re running out of video memory. We’ve just updated the game to hopefully be less demanding on lower-end hardware, could you let us know if the problem persists with game version 1.1.5? Thanks.

MemberSorry for the late reply,
The update made it worse.
Now I have White Enemies and No background map…..October 26, 2011 at 2:43 AM #2214lolcocks
MemberWhoops….
My bad at the screenshot….
Here’s the correct one….October 26, 2011 at 3:07 AM #2215lolcocks
MemberAlso I am using Android 2.2 Froyo Stock Firmware.
Its rooted…. (but I don’t think it should make any difference…)Also have OverClocked the CPU to 800 MHz (This also should not make and difference to the video memory, it should rather increase game performance)
And sorry for triple posting, could you merge them all?

PaulMemberThe background map was a bug in the 1.1.5 version on some devices, could you update to the latest 1.1.6 version which should fix it and try again please?

MemberThe background map is back but the White Enemies bug is still there…..

Can anyone tell me the location of the save file and the location where the additional files are downloaded?
So that I can reinstall the game and re-download the additional files without losing my current game progress?
Even if the save file is inside the APK I will extract it and replace it within the new APK…
I am not some kind of stupid gamer having a Android phone.

Could anyone please answer the questions above?
Thanks in advance….

Repair DroneMemberThe location of your Sentinel 3 folder will vary depending on whether the game is installed to internal storage or an sd card. The files you want are:
Sentinel3/OEAppSaveData/0_PERSISTENT_DATA.dat
Sentinel3/OEAppSaveData/0_PERSISTENT_DATA_CS.datLet us know how you get on.

MemberOkay, I found where exactly the bug lies…..
I reinstalled the game and I did back up my save files but didn’t apply them after reinstalling. (Thought I do make a fresh start.)
It was working fine, until I started the 4th Level (at medium difficulty) and then my enemies are just white boxes.
I closed that level and decided to play another but it had the same bug….
Even last time the same thing happened.
So, every time I start the 4th Level, the enemies turn to white boxes.Even after I complete the 4th level, the bug still persists in the 5th one….
My Phone Specifications:

Repair DroneMemberWe’ve been looking into reports of graphical problems on the Samsung i5800, and if our various memory saving suggestions aren’t helping, you might just not be able to run the game smoothly. The number of game assets required increase as you advance through the levels, which could explain why you’re having problems when you hit level 4.
We’ll continue to look into improving performance, but in the mean time drop us a line at our listed support email address where we can offer refunds if necessary.

MemberNo thanks,
I don’t want a refund….
I do rather wait until the game updates…Just on a side note, if the number of game assets required increases at level 4 and so on, then why do previous levels get the same problem after level 4?
Hmmmm….
Personally I don’t think it has anything do with game assets.
And the game runs epic smooth, with 0% lags.
I am guessing around 40 – 50 FPS…Wish there was app to check the FPS of the game for Android…..
Or maybe there is one but I don’t know….Do ping me if your guys need to test anything….

MemberI have the same problem on my samsung Galaxy 3 GT-I5800 with android 2.2 froyo.
At the beginning everything was well but after finish 3 or 4 level – white enemies… I restart the phone but did not help so i reinstalled the game. First i played classic mode and after few levels the same problem – I thought ok, i can play with white enemies
– so i continued the game but after next level more and more icons on map become white
” title=”Neutral” /> weapon icons, menu icons etc. So it looks like this: level 1 – everything ok, level 2 – white enemies, level 3 – white enemies + white weapon icons, level 4 – white enemies + white weapons icons + white menu icons + white commander, missiles… I wonder what would happen at the end.
” title=”Razz” />
After another reinstall already on first level are white enemies.Very strange bug.
Probably only on this phone?December 9, 2011 at 3:03 AM #2223yingxuy
MemberSentinel 3 will depend on the location of the folder the game is installed to internal memory or SD card.

MemberI kept it in the phone memory and the SD Card and still have the same problem….
Tried 2 days back….January 27, 2012 at 12:09 PM #2209Duddha
MemberI’ve installed Chainfire3D and reduce texture quality. Due to this I can still play Sentinel 3 on my I5800 without "White Enemies".
Game graphics is a bit worse, but it doesn’t prevent me to enjoy the game. You can get Chainfire3D on Android Market[/url:fwwk86ef]

wow, this is certainly an interesting looking app, thanks for bringing this to our attention. This also confirms what we previously thought, that white squares just purely means that you are out of texture memory.
