the iPad version is currently in development. We are not sure if it will be universal, or a separate HD version yet. We don’t have a timeline for it yet, we will post news as soon as we have any

Congratulations for release of SENTINEL 3… I’m already playing, very nice!
So, about the iPad version, i don’t like the "HD version"… I’d rather pay more for a universal version. I don’t like having two files for the same app. Please don’t make the HD version for their apps. I did not see many differences between the two versions.
Is very annoying to pay twice for the same app and have to synchronize each device with a different file.Thanx guys, I’m really addicted Sentinel Fan.

Featuring:
– Endless modes for all maps, with online highscores.
– Support for OpenFeint and GameCenter global scores.

[/quote:3uz2obdu]Um I just got the game last night and it is great so far.
The music is top notch I havent even used my own music because that dubstep-ish music is beast.
Gameplay is smooth even on my 1st gen touch and the new additions are fun and interesting.
But that’s aside the point, the thing I really came here to say is: Improve your security if you are going to have global leaderboards/highscores!I got on my computer today and I already figured out how to mod anything the game saves… just thought I would share that and if you don’t believe me I could PM you a picture or something? Maybe you don’t care this is just a heads up

Top notch game though.

Thanks for the images, but I’ve deleted your other post as others don’t need to see them. It’s always possible to hack global highscores in all openfeint games. Sure, you’ve managed to do it via the savegame data, but it’s equally possible to do it other ways that don’t involve the game at all.
Rest assured, we will be monitoring the leaderboards for suspicious scores, and now it’s possible to see the player’s tower layouts it’s easy to spot people who do what you did. We have the power to delete these scores from the leaderboards AND PERMANENTLY BAN[/color:3qa5tdv9] these accounts from posting scores.
Please report any suspicious scores to us and we will investigate

[/quote:1fo8gbs3][/quote:1fo8gbs3][/quote:1fo8gbs3]Cool I wasn’t sure you could even monitor the highscores, I assumed it was something left up to openfient. I really was simply interested in experimenting because the layout of the save had changed quite a bit from what I remembered sentinel 2 and it had also grown like 100kb.
The pictures were just for you and I figured you would remove them, I just couldn’t figure out how to send a pm on this site so I posted it in a topic because I saw that you would have to pre-verify it before it was shown.
Also one other comment about *and now it’s possible to see the player’s tower layouts
I’m not really sure how important this is but I think it should be not visible for the easy/med game modes because it is too simple to just follow exactly what someone, specifically the top players, did in those modes where you can easily accumulate $ and it also slightly diminishes some of the games challenge. That’s just my opinion though and it surely does have the advantage of showing model success lay-outs to newer players or exposing cheaters.December 8, 2010 at 10:49 PM #1908iPhoneUser
MemberNot sure if it’s just me, but I was quite disappointed with how easy this game was. I’ve already finished all games, in all difficulties with tons of money left each time. By comparison, I still haven’t beaten at least one map on Sentinel 2 in Pyscho mode.
It’s just way too easy to accumulate a lot of money early on, and then it’s game over.
Hopefully this will be addressed soon?

Memberfor the sentinel 3,
need to full screen support iphone 5
Will be updated ?

Repair DroneMemberWe’ve got our hands full with Sentinel 4 right now, so we can’t give you a firm answer on that at the moment. The maps and UI in Sentinel 3 are very tied to the aspect ratio of the earlier iPhones, so updating the game for iPhone 5 would not be a trivial undertaking.
